Generations United's Seniors4Kids raises the voices of adults age 50 and older in support of policies affecting children and youth.
Thomas Taylor

Thomas Taylor serves as Special Advisor to Generations United’s Seniors4Kids, an initiative engaging older adults in support of quality early care and education.

As a founder and the first Executive Director of National Child Day Care Association in Washington, D.C., he developed and operated 19 preschool and school age centers. Under a grant from the US Department of Labor, successfully demonstrated that a child care center for employees was beneficial to the child, parent and employer. This program is now duplicated nationally by government agencies and private businesses. He retired as President of Children First, Inc. which operated two early learning child care centers in Baltimore and also offered consulting services in managing centers.

Tom has a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Howard University.
